Google Plus, Google's social networking, social networking has become the fastest growing in the world, after users reached 10 million members in just two weeks.
This figure is not the official numbers from Google, but data from third parties. Paul Allen from Ancestry.com has developed an interesting methodology for calculating the number of members of the Google +.
He gave examples of a number of names from the U.S. Census Bureau data and compare it with the names + Google users. Comparing the popularity of the name in the U.S. with the amount of any Google user name +, he can guess the percentage of U.S. residents who register on Google +. Finally, he calculates the ratio of U.S. users and nonusers U.S. to find + forecasts the number of Google users around the world.
The result? + Google has about 9.5 million users from around the world. A total of 2.2 million users of whom joined in the 32 hours-34 hours. Similarly, Paul Allen's forecasts.
This is an amazing growth for giants like Google. So far there has been no social networks to reach as fast as Google + growth.
