Microsoft today made Windows 8 Release Preview available for download, which aims to be a sleeker and more polished version based on feedback from the Consumer Preview.
Windows 8 aims to be a completely redesigned experience from Windows 7, and is meant to seamlessly run across both tablet, laptop, and desktop platforms. With its new MEtro-style interface, Windows 8 certainly breaks away from the traditional Windows mould, however it has come under fire from users as being too touch-reliant and difficult to navigate for new users.
