One thing we know about Nokia’s mobile phones and smartphones is that they are available in a variety of colors, a freedom which we don’t get when we go with the likes of Android phones and iPhones. Nokia N8 up till now has been missing one important color, Pink. But that is no longer the case as the Finlanders have announced the Pink edition of their multimedia sensation, N8.
Specs wise, the smartphone remains the same, something which we didn’t see with the white iPhone 4. Nokia N8 has a powerful 12 MP imager which does high quality HD video recording, a 3.5 inch AMOLED capacitive touch screen, 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM and other usual bells and whistles that one has come expect from a smartphone these days.
Guess what there a couple of pink themed apps to support the color as well. These are the Little Pink Diva Theme which adds some colour into your menus and the Pink Neon Clock apps which makes sure you don’t miss your important appointments.
According to the conversation I had with one of Nokia’s representative, the launch of the phone will take place gradually. China already has the Pink Nokia N8 up for grabs. No idea when the UAE will get the said phone. Pretty soon is what we hope.
