I challenge you to watch the below video and not sigh out loud.
It features Steve Mahan, a man who has lost 95% of this vision sitting in Google’s self-driving car. With zero interaction from Mahan, the car rolls through suburbs, cruises onto the highway, stops by a drive-thru and takes Mahan on his errands.
The video is one of the few public communications that Google has made about its self-driving car project, since announcing it back in 2010. We’ve seen a few videos peppered on the Internet, but this is the first time we’ve actually seen how a car like this can simply blend in with everyday life.
