Sony Ericsson has quietly launched the first ever Walkman phone featuring Google’s, now old and dusty, Android 2.1.
It’s called the Walkman W8 and features, of course, the Walkman branding and its set of music features. Also packed in is a 3″ 320×480 HVGA display, 3.2 megapixel camera , FM Radio, and 128MB of RAM.
While not up to snuff with current mobile devices, the Xperia Mini-esque Walkman should be good enough for those wanting a compact music player.
The device is currently available in Asia in three colors, red, blue and orange.
