Erectile dysfunction (ED) makes the function or the ability to ejaculate penis become blocked. Even so men with ED is still more than able to ejaculate orgasm.
Orgasm and ejaculation are two different things although sometimes some men experience it simultaneously. Orgasm is a sensation of pleasure which he felt before the semen out during ejaculation.
Well, DE ejaculation in men can still occur even if there are too quickly (premature ejaculation) and there is too long (terhmbat ejaculation). But although it can do ejaculate, the man complained about the difficulty of ED experience the sensation of orgasm.
A new study finds that 65 percent of ED men can not experience orgasm, and about 58 percent have problems with ejaculation.
Research led by scientists and doctors from New York Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Cornell Medical Center involving 12 130 men with ED both mild to severe ED category. Then researchers will analyze the ability of orgasm and ejaculation.
"Although drugs like Viagra and Cialis have successfully helped these people, but apparently there are other sexual issues that can not be resolved," said lead study author Dr. Darius Paduch of New York Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Cornell Medical Center, as quoted from Indiavision, Thursday (25/08/2011).
In recent decades, scientists have only focused on the rigidity of the penis. But actually there are still many patients who say that sexual problems are not only limited to that but also involves other conditions such as decreased sensation or orgasm volume.
"The severity of dysfunctional ejaculation and orgasm is associated with the severity of erectile dysfunction. This problem is quite surprising for people with mild erectile dysfunction," said Dr. Paduch.
26 percent of people with mild erectile dysfunction, decreased 18 percent experienced an orgasm and ejaculation dysfunction. The results of this study have been published in the British Journal of Urology International.
Erectile dysfunction is the failure of men in initiating or maintaining an erection to the extent required by both partners to achieve sexual satisfaction. The reason could be due to abnormalities of blood vessels, nerve disorders, drugs, abnormalities of the penis, or psychological problems that affect sexual arousal.
