President of Microsoft Windows Phone Andy Less at Microsoft World Partner Conference says "single ecosystem" for PCs, mobile phones, tablets and other devices could appear in 2015.
"You can have a PC from the factory where you want," said Less indicating the company may use a common interface across different devices.
The trend was already visible in the Windows operating system that cheated of 8 PC Phone Windows. It also mimics the steps that Apple uses the same operating system for PCs, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones.
Less said Microsoft wants to give coherence and consistency across different devices, especially with the Xbox. So far, Microsoft has used IE9 browser on your phone and PC.
Writing in ThisIsMyNext.com, Nilay Patel, said that Microsoft plans to harmonize not only Windows PCs and Windows Phone, but also the Xbox operating system within the next four years.
